Where and when
Our Sunday meetings begin at 10.30am. If you’re able to, please join us from 10am for a cup of tea or coffee.
We meet at Landau Forte Academy Amington, Woodland Road, B77 4FF. Please head through the main entrance and you will see signs and people directing you upstairs to where we meet.
What to expect
Our church gatherings look and feel very similar to other Christian gatherings around the world.
The heart of our time together is hearing the Bible preached and learning more about the Lord Jesus Christ. We also spend time singing, praying, and helping one another live for Jesus. Once a month we enjoy a church lunch together.
Children
We love welcoming children to church - children are precious in God’s sight and are therefore precious to us. We want to do all we can to help parents bring up their children to know the Lord and to involve children in the life of the church.
There are several ways we try and help children:
We keep our language simple and clear to help people of every age.
We have spaces available for under 3s where they can play quietly during the meeting or be taken out by parents if needed.
Our Explorers Sunday school group runs for 3-7s most Sundays. The exception is on the first Sunday of every month where everyone is ‘all-in’ during the sermon.
FAQs
Is there disabled access?
Yes. There is a lift available on Sundays to take you to the upstairs level. The corridors are wide and accessible throughout the building.
What should I wear to church?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. Don’t feel you need to dress up in your ‘Sunday best’!
Do I need to bring any money with me?
No. We don’t take an offering during our Sunday meetings and all of the refreshments are free. We don’t want anything to be a barrier to people coming and listening to the Bible with us.
